A DIY Greenery Project
Last weekend I decided to tackle the area by our fireplace and style/organize the bookshelves…something I’ve really been anxious to do for a while.
.
I was inspired a couple months ago by the grassy arrangements in this picture:
.
So, here I go in my cheap attempt to capture the look…
SUPPLIES: 4 White Photo Storage Boxes (WAY cheaper than any other kind of planter), Grassy Greenery, Floral Foam
1. Cut floral foam to fit the box.
2. Use wire cutters to cut the greenery to slightly different lengths.
3. Poke the stems into the foam in spaced rows with the taller stems in the back.
4. TA DA.
.
Now for the BEFORE and AFTER of the book shelves…
BEFORE our bookshelves were mostly empty with a random scattering of books and accessories.
And AFTER.
Better?
Well…I considered it a successful Saturday afternoon…

More belly shots coming this week!
